The 9200 Bently Nevada speed sensor system is designed to measure vibration in bearing housings, casings, or structures. The two wire system consists of sensors and appropriate cables. It provides a voltage output proportional to the vibration speed of the sensor. Because they do not require an external power source, they are convenient for portable measurement applications. 74712 is a high-temperature sensor model of 9200.

Bentley vibration speed and acceleration sensors are mainly connected to vibration monitors 2300/20, 1900/65, and 3500/42M monitors. When connecting signals to 3500/42M or 3500/44M monitors, acceleration and velocity signals from sensors must be used on separate channel pairs (such as channels 1 and 3) or on separate monitors. The transmission cable length can reach up to 305 meters.
